About
I am a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at UPC, where I work with the CITCEA-UPC research group. My research focuses on modern power systems dominated by power electronics converters, including renewable generation (onshore and offshore wind, solar PV), HVDC, FACTS, energy storage and microgrids.
I received my degree in Industrial Engineering from ETSEIB-UPC in 2001 and my PhD in Electrical Engineering from UPC in 2007. I am an ICREA Academia researcher since 2020, and in 2022 I co-founded eRoots Analytics, a UPC spin-off building software for the analysis of modern power systems.
